As long as it's going in that direction, I don't think the story would necessarily be out of place... But I will leave it up to you to decide. Just let me know if you think the slashiness is apparent enough.

Uhh, I'm conflicted. It emphasizes the friendship between Harry and Draco (although you don't see Draco that often), and the tentative friendship between Harry and Snape.
One Snarry fan actually read this as Snarry O.o (It's sort of like a mentor!Snape fic). I was tempted to make it Snucius, but maybe it'll be Severus/Remus instead :-D (Who cares about HBP, phsaw.)
I'd be honored if you put the fic in the list (labeled as "Genfic, H/D pre-slash"). Otherwise H/D fans will lynch me for not having nearly enough H/D moments, lol.
I'm afraid I don't have the time to tackle another long fic at this moment. But thank you for the link. I would like to read it later.

The chapters average 900-1200 words each. I purposely make them read like short stories that stand alone, so there's no cliffhanger-I-have-to-read-the-next-chapter-now kind of thing. You can read one chapter a month and it wouldn't matter that much, I would think.
Reading it in one go might actually make you miss a lot. (I love making obscure literary references and giving subtle hints that uh, 90% of casual readers will miss, lol. So shoot me.)
