You know, I'm pretty new to the writing side of fandom (been reading since OOTP came out), so I don't really know how this stuff works. I feel like I see a lot of comms that don't have anyone posting to them, so I didn't know if it would be a fruitless endeavour.
I'd really imagined a place where any author could come and write, and could really write any kind of story, but with the luxury of writing about a town or city or forest they know about, having H/D go to all their fave haunts of the town, etc. So I could have H/D traveling through the redwoods and going to Arcata, CA and Draco being disgusted by the non-showering hippies and then they go naked hot tubbing at Cafe Mokka outdoor hot tubs, and I wouldn't have to come up with a plausible story for getting them there!
How does a set of writers work? I only read randomly in the hd_365 (*is sheepish*).
