There are some stories that start off with argument and then get better through some form of gratuitous sex. But I've never read one where the sex didn't seem gratuitous, but actually part of the healing. It was beautiful in this. Rich and deep and very much needed. It was handled very well.

Of course, I have to put this in my memories! *snerk*
