Ah, poor plotting Draco... Really though, he's probably kicking himself, or rather, kicking everything that lets him because Malfoys don't ever take their own blame. ^_~ But yeah, it really makes for an interetsing idea: what COULD have happened? If Draco had actually befriended Harry, would Ron have seemed so appealing? WOuld Ron's faults have shown brighter than his good parts?
