It was a look Malfoy had turned on him often enough since their first year at Hogwarts, and it was always that look which ultimately frightened Harry into lashing out at the other boy. He did not envy Montague at all: the fear in the Slytherin's face was apparent.
I love that part, don't think I mentioned it before. It's just something about Harry seeing that look from a different point of view.
