Exactly. But he's much more willing to at least peer at it, which is more than I can say for Draco. This is why I have Harry do what he does later. Draco has the style of a guerilla fighter in dealing with this. He strikes and runs. Harry ponders, plans, gets all the info, and then acts.

I like the choice of razor thin edge, rather than just thin edge because it adds not only the air of confusion, but also this sense of immediacy and peril.

To me, this is Harry in this fic: nothing is just a passing consideration. He needs to udnerstand it all, and do something about it. He's Harry, and he feels he must act.
