Wow, very interesting the way you've described the deep conflict -- and really dramatized the struggle -- that Draco has going on inside. I like the idea too of his feelings for Harry mixed up with his growing uncertainty about his own side in the coming war, as well as his appreciation for what it would mean for him to alter his position. Very complex.
And yay, Harry! :) I wonder, does Harry really love him here? I couldn't really tell if that was 100% true, at least in the way that Draco wants it to be true. I suspect Harry does love the person whose emotions he felt at the beginning, and as that is Draco, that would make sense. But Draco is also all of the annoying, irritating traits that he has always had...
