Levitating *melting*

Dang - where's that Marauders' Map when ya' really need it? (^_^)

What an emotional chapter you wrote - you must truly have felt empty after penning/typing this chapter. Your words poured into my heart and touched my soul! This, to me, is such a realistic writing of this pairing... I believe they would each fight their own emotions and feelings initially because it does go against all that is expected (and demanded) of them. Especially because neither of them had truly experienced a loving, caring, emotionally fulfilling family relationship growing up. I have always thought that Draco's childhood was as deprived as Harry's of emotional contentment and was part of what made Draco put up such a strong above-everybody-else attitude as a defense mechanism (of course, the Malfoy money & name simply helped promote that attitude); just as Harry always puts up a I'm-ok-everything-will-be-fine attitude (and never lets people, even his 'friends', see how sad and lonely he really is inside... it wouldn't do to let the wizarding world know their 'hero/savior' was only human) - of course, that is just my opinion.

I think that one of the reasons I really enjoy your writing is that you don't write PWP (which I enjoy for what it is... hot sex) - you, however, actually write the 'story'... you give us the background, the day-to-day life and really take the time to develop the relationship... these are not characters who jump into bed with just any body or just anyone! They have spent a lifetime hiding their true feelings and protecting their tortured souls. It is not easy, then, to just open up. For a story of this nature... I don't think I would have taken out anything that you wrote. I think each piece is an intricate part of the overall puzzle and is needed to reveal the whole story. Off to read chapter 5.
