I love that icon. Been meaning to tell you. Harry's little smile is perfect.
I love friends, so it's fine if you add me.
Both these boys have so much going on in their lives, as Draco's Dad so clearly mentions in not so many words, even if that's not what he's intent is (coz I don't know what it really is), but to the reader, to me, it's clear enough.
Yeah, Lucius is undergoing a few crucial switches right now... whether he follows them or not is of course, his deal. I love that you like the pacing. That is a great thing to hear.
Theory of fandom, huh? Hmm, sounds mighty interesting. I may pop over and check it out, because that kind of thing really intrigues me.
I too am a major Draco-proponent. I have no idea if JK is going to turn him, or even develop him, but I really would like to see more to him because he is such a 2-D character with no real purpose other than to piss everyone off, and that's a cop-out, in my opinion. I don't necessarily need him to switch sides (if that's not done right, it could be disastrous and silly anyway). But I would like to see his motivation. Right now he's just a kid and getting to the age where he is going to have to CHOOSE to stay with his dad's way of thinking. And her Draco-chapter gives me hope, though it is early on in the book (6, I think) and that makes me wonder if it's just Harry seeing Draco in Diagon Alley or wherever. But here's hoping!
