I really like that you described that lingering smell of Harry as sweet lemons - because it gives it something that it uniquely his; maybe that aroma can't be found anywhere else.

Heh. *thinks you will mightily enjoy ch. 7 because of this comment* Thanks. I like that juxtaposition of sour and somewhat discouraging, with sweet and highly desirable. That's Harry to Draco, though he won't admit it. It's his main unspoken problem in this section.

That is really powerful image, almost Poe-esque in the quality of making inanimate things more threatening than even those that are alive. There's so much paranoia in Draco's character and it creates this claustrophobic tension.

You don't know how much you have complimented me here. Poe is one of my favorite horror writers. He's marvelous at setting a mood, and for you to call this Poe-esque makes me so excited. I'm blushing, thank you. *snogs*
