Love this line, like there's an unspoken battleground and Draco has no idea whose banner is being waved.
Oh, PERFECT interpretation! Exactly. Draco knows the battle, but does not know exactly what is being fought over. Suspects it is him, but... with Harry he is never quite sure.
coupled with this theme of possession and anger, transforms all of the sex scenes from being merely hot, into vibrant, emotional, shocking, and painful, all at once.
Thank you for saying this. It is what I was trying for, what I usually try for, and I don't know if it has been successful. I love that you picked out this thread.
And the flow of dialogue throughout the trial is so pulsing, so perfectly paced. It makes the scene so visual and real. You can really feel the tension in each word. And Blaise... I love the way you've written him. The anger, the betrayal, everything.
THANK YOU. I was especially worried about how Blaise would come across. I am so happy you liked the trial, and that you like Blaise here. *wipes forehead in relief*
I really like how in all of your fics you have this idea of sensing magic. Somehow it darkens the tone so much, this idea of not only a person, but their essence trapped somehow in whatever mark they leave behind in the air.
My take on magic is that it is powerful and filling, and very difficult to control. Dangerous, especially when the person loses what little control he or she possesses. It permeates my fics because it is the essence of Harry and Draco to me. An extension of the self, and a dark rather sinister one at that. Thank you so much.
Your Draco is so distinctive, vulnerable and submissive and the way he latches on to everything he's given from Harry...
And the simplicity in that final line is perfection.
Thank you so much for both of those statements. I love your review. I really appreciate what you've said and I am extremely squee-y right now because of it. Thank you for getting so much out of my story. *kiss*
