OMG I'm an idiot. I totally thought you were tlaking about the books Draco was reading! Hahaha, oh okay, the magic theory comes from the Dragonlance Chronicles by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman (the idea that usign magic too much and too heavily will sap it right from your body and possibly kill you), and also from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings (the twisting of spells into darkness... modeled after the way the dark god twisted the elves to make orcs). Heh. *sporks self*
