I don't know anyone who actively speaks Latin, unfortunately. Have you tried posting to a comm that covers beta work or something similar? I bet there are people out there in the fandom who could help you.

I am going to have to think about crossover stuff... Does your friend have some of her fic posted? I would love to read it so I could get a better idea.
