This was beautiful; a perfect continuation of the series, which I've loved from its inception (without commenting, sorry! -- am horribly prone to lurking). I especially love the way you suspend the characters in a moment and slowly reveal their feelings; their hesitancy and simultaneous desire for and terror of commitment is beautifully done. And the ring! The symbolism is just perfect, and for this Draco it's so in character to wait for a week so that he can be sure the ring will be exactly right. Love this!
