No, I'm not getting married. Possibly ever. :) I meant that I was looking forward to the cake-tasting scene of the fic. ♥
Richard Gere ordered a garden burger with the Moroccan soup. That restaurant makes basically everything from scratch, including bread, salad dressings, you name it. I had made that batch of garden burgers, but I also assembled it, and I had also made the soup. :) I didn't bake the bun the garden burger was on or grow the lettuce or anything, but I may have also made the cilantro sauce. Someone else made the mango chutney. And I didn't serve him; the owners did! But I stole peeks at him from the kitchen (which he was facing)! :D
It's a little individual restaurant, but they have two locations now, and earlier that same summer, Susan Sarandon was at the other one. If you ever come to Winnipeg (ha ha!) I'll be sure to take you there. :) Small menu, but nice food. ♥
