Ah, sorry - I don't know if that's just a regional thing, but hereabouts, a tool, besides being something handy with which to install things and whatnot, is also a person who could well be described as a dolt, knob, moron, etc. :)

I haven't seen it in either version yet, which is sort of a tragedy. I've always wanted to see it! It's not often that Hollywood movies get filmed in Winnipeg, Manitoba, after all! Apparently our architecture looks a lot like Chicago's, so sometimes for budget purposes, they do come here. Apparently part of some Jesse James film with Brad Pitt was filmed here last summer, too. :)
