I'm guessing you mean the... ö :P it's not an umlaut, it's a Swedish letter, and it's in the middle row on the keyboard... hence the ölkdsajkljdaölk instead of alkjahkhsakjkaj whoah... and we have å and ä as well :P (my Mum went "that must be german! 'umleitung' is german!")
