I still want to comment in more depth on this installment, but real life has been so busy lately. I wanted to tell you, though, that I've been thinking about the dynamic of their relationship that I find most interesting in this series. Draco, for all his Slytherin bravado, is a little insecure in it. And I don't think it's because he doesn't trust Harry, or because he doesn't think that Harry loves him. It's almost that he doesn't feel he deserves Harry's love. It was very evident in this chapter, when he was worried that Harry would think he had cheated on him. Harry, on the other hand, is so serene in his love for Draco. It's like loving Draco is the best thing that ever happened to him (and it is, of course), and he knows it. He's very secure in his feelings, and in Draco's feelings. I find it interesting because Draco is often portrayed as the secure, haughty, "I'm worth it" one in the relationship, and Harry the inexperienced, halting, insecure one.
Anyway, sorry to ramble; I'm not eloquent like you! But I've been trying to figure out why I love this series so much. It definitely has to do with your beautifully evocative writing style, but I think it's also because of the uniqueness of the story.
