Maybe Harry's never thought before that he could make anyone feel something that strong and positive toward him. I just love that line there.
I don't think it's ever occurred to him, SC!Harry or canon!Harry. He just doesn't think like that, that he's worth that much, or that he could be. It's a surprsie to him, and I think here it is the clincher to way he approaches Draco with a more open, considering, compassionate mind.
