To everyone waiting for an update to The Road...

I had planned to post the new chapter today, but I started a new job this week and I haven't had a chance to edit it properly yet. I have prior commitments for tonight, alas... But we'll see how much I can get done when I get back. In all likelihood, I won't be posting until tomorrow.

I'm sorry if I didn't get my beta comments to you soon enough. Last night I realized you said you wanted to post on Wednesday, and I was all, "whoa, it's Tuesday already!" The days just fly by, don't they?

Sorry I didn't respond to this... Don't even worry about it. I haven't had to do such major tinkering with these chapters, and that one just needed a little more work. It happens. Not a problem. I'm thankful that you still want to beta for me. *giggles*

No problem. I just don't want to delay any of your posts. I love beta-ing for you! Really, I've learned a lot about writing from your fic. So it's not like there isn't something in it for me. ;D

Excellent to hear. Yeah, all macs have it built it. It's pretty awesome. So you study Japanese, too, I gather? I'm planning on studying abroad there next year, and hopefully transferring for the rest of school if I can:)

I studied Japanese for four quarters in college Pretty intense classes, let me say! But I had a great time. I feel I'm losing it lately, though. If you don't keep working at it, it tends to slip away.

Where in Japan are you hoping to study? I studied abroad in London, England a few years ago. Singular experience; one of the best in my life. ^_^

That's pretty great. I'm actually studying abroad in Dublin right now, which is why my LJ name keeps switching from Bayb43 to masterplots:) It's pretty great over here. I'm wanting to go next year to Sophia University. It's in Tokyo. Ever heard of it?

Ooh, Dublin? I never made it over to Ireland, but I wanted to... *sigh* What's it like?

And no, I don't think I've ever heard of Sophia University. What is their focus?

Oh, Dublin is alright...it's wicked expensive, though, and the weather is totally crazy. It's sunny and cool one minute, and raining the next. I've started bringing an umbrella with me everywhere. The countryside, however, is gorgeous. If you check out the livejournal I'm signed onto right now, it's a travel log and I've been taking a bunch of pictures. I'm going to be spending weekends at a couple other towns out in the more beautiful parts.

Sophia University is half international university and half Japanese uni. in Tokyo. The classes are taught in English at the int. school, but you can stay in a home-stay and it's right in the middle of Tokyo, so it should be nice. I'd be going for Asian studies and Japanese.

What does your icon mean?

Oh. *snort* Yeah, that's a reference to the third movie, when Snape storms into Lupin's classroom slamming windows shut left and right, yanks down the overhead screen, whirls around, and says in the calmest voice imaginable, "Turn to page three hundred ninety four." *busts up all over again* That part always makes my heart flutter. ^_~

biohazard_icons so I looked but didn't find it in the memories (you see when I'm curious about something, I don't rest until I figure it out)
By the way, I haven't read The Road, I'm waiting until you finish writing it,or the temptation wins, whichever happens first.
So if I leave you a 'review' on The Road soon you'll now I have no willpower
