YAY! The zombie poll is up :-D! And YAY for finishing your fic for hd_holidays!

Since I wasn't ask the very last question when I took it, I'll answer it here for fun. My favorite zombie movie..well I don't have a specific one since I enjoy all zombie movies that I've seen so far and it's really hard to choose, so I'll choose the top two which are Night of the Living Dead and Shaun of the Dead. The first changed zombie movie history and the second made parody of all of those movies and both are just great movies. ^_^

I still say that there needs to be a zombie musical with some dancing zombie penguins in it :-P

You picked two luvverly films. *cracks up* Night of the Living Dead remains one of the scariest movies ever, in my opinion. Not so much in the blood-and-gore-scary or even the jump-scary. But the ideas and themes in it... *shudders* Definitely keeps you up at night.

And Shaun... Oh, Shaun, how do I love thee? ♥

And I agree: Zombie Penguins, FULL SPEED AHEAD!

I think that's what so great and fascinating about zombie films. There are underlying ideas and themes beneath the gore of it. They are able to relate current situation and themes that are occurring in the world within it while scaring audience (or making them laugh).

And on a different note, every time I see "SUPER RU!!!" in your words of wisdom, it makes me sing in my head "It's super ru, supper ru, it's super ru!!!" with fanfare and trumpet. It inevitably makes me think of a kangaroo and then Roo, the baby kangaroo in Winnie the Pooh. :-P
