Frankly, I don't know why they cast Keanu in that role in the first place. Being an alien doesn't equal deadpan line delivery. *frowns* I love Keanu just as much as the next person, but I had to raise my eyebrows at that casting choice.
i do, however, remember loads of good discussion in the movie that has been utterly lost in lieu of FX.
