Suspects it is him, but... with Harry he is never quite sure.

I love how much you've played into this uncertainty. Because, truly, that's what makes H/D so complex. There's always that element of mystery, and it makes the ship both fragile and beautiful at the same time. It's like at any moment it could wash away but that makes every moment they do have imbued with passion, sometimes even too much passion so that it becomes painful and tense.

I was especially worried about how Blaise would come across.

I really like that he's such a strong character in his own right even though in canon he's just a name. You've really created him, and molded him into a wonderfully three-dimensional character. (I really liked the parallels you drew between him and Bellatrix, too.)

it is the essence of Harry and Draco to me.

I love it. I've never seen H/D written in this way. And I think it fits so much better with canon ideas, having magic everywhere, surrounding and enveloping. I really like how here, it fits so well into this idea of possession, and how Harry's magic can be as strong or stronger than any physical pain Blaise, or any other character, for that matter, can inflict.

Thank you so so much for sharing this. I've loved reading everything you write.
