Maybe we should do a challenge. They just did one for World AIDS Day... Kind of the inspiration for this fic... But I would love for people to incorporate this more into their work... or at least into what they read.
And yeah, part of the problem with figuring out a cure for AIDS ahas always been the fact that people think it can't happen to them. Earlier on, it was that people thought it could only apply to certain groups of people (an idea that caused me much helpless fury while studying the history of the disease). This affects everyone.
A comm would be good. I would love to be part of something like that. You think people would be into it? I have no idea how to go about starting one up...
