Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmy...erm. I'm an atheist, I can't say that. Bugger all!
That was so CUTE. And then parts of it were not so cute, but they were still gorgeous and squee-worthy in an entirely different way. Ugh, I'm trying to be coherent here...Draco actually did something nice! And Ron was a protective little darling! I like the bit about Padma and Neville; those kind of details make the aftermath of the war more vivid. It wasn't just Harry and Draco.
This. was. perfect: Harry studied the other boy and made a split second decision. “It’s alright, there’s no one here. I won’t hold you to it like some people would.”
It fits so well with Draco's line earlier: “But you’ve already lived through more than most people four times older than you have.”
It just seems to point out how much Harry has matured. A normal teenage boy with raging hormones and a mad crush would take his chances and start snogging, but Harry knows exactly when to let Draco take the lead.
The entire kissing scene was absolutely gorgeous, so I won't quote it all. I'll just reiterate that I love your Harry and Draco. The dialogue just flows naturally between them; there's still a bit of the classic snark, but it's toned down as they become more comfortable with each other.
The blond pulled away, leaving a cold wake behind.
I feel the cold! Meh! Come back, Draco! This was definitely worth the wait!
