You know which chapter made me shout "FANFIC!"? Sectumsempra, the one where Harry goes into the boy's bathroom. Good lord, if that's not straight out of fanfic, I dunno what is. ^_^ Made me mightily happy.
I was so worried she was just going to leave her villains as two-dimensional. That would have disappointed me so much. While I would love for Draco to do an about face, I will be just as happy if I only learn his motivations for being a baddie. Before this book, he was just really flatly ebil.
