Okay! Anyone familiar with the Gravitation anime series and manga, and want to beta a story?

Ooh, ooh, ooh! Who's your favorite? I like Eiri and K. K-san ROCKS my boat. Oh god, that guy is hilarious.

And Eiri... *has no words* There just aren't enough words for Eiri.

My fave is Hiro! Ka-ching! Though, I play K in an rpg. It's teh fun, I can let out my violent tendencies :P (Kiro=otp)

Yuki is most fun to write. Mean-evil-author in love :P

I have a gravi community actually... I might be a little too obsessed with gravi though.

Hiro is, like, world's greatest best friend. I have adored him since the first moment I saw him in episode 1 of the series. ^___^

Eiri rocks my world. In so many ways. I feel he is one of the most complex characters I have run across in anime. (The other being Himura Kenshin.)

I would love to see your Gravi comm!

XD Hiro would make the greatest boyfriend ever...It's such a pity that he's a fictional character *headdesk* and I haven't seen all of the anime... I was very disappointed in it actually, and I've been trying to suppress my memories of Yuki's pervy voice. No offense. Oh, and Shuichi's "Weeeell, HIIII!" has been forever ingrained in my brain.
...I think they're prettier in the manga.

Yuki is a very special character :P I think what I have most problem with when writing him is the ambivalence. The way to just let things go... I can never do that. Oddities.

the community is quite pathetic really :P (but the people in it are brilliant) [livejournal.com profile] gravi_drabble though I've gotten three good friends through it. <3 new friends.

Oh, please don't tell me you were watching it in English. Here's my one anime rule, set in stone: Whenever possible, watch it in the original Japanese. Even though the translations can be pretty good, they always invariably miss something when they are trying to fit voices to mouth movements... The other reason being that you have a good chance of them royally screwing up the voice-to-character match-up. It gets really aggravating. Watch the series in Japanese. It's so good, and Eiri's voice is heavenly.

I will check out your comm.

Oh, Dude, I watched in both languages XD I played switcheroo a little too to see the voicematch :P

and NOBODY can EVER screw ANYTHING up more than they did the Swedish voices for HP. The poor little kiddies...

Oh my god, are you serious?? O.o

[identity profile] rolling-scone.livejournal.com 2006-03-05 02:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Very much so, on, err, both accounts. *not sure what you meant* :P

That badness. That's what I meant.

Ha, I can still remember the one time I watched Brotherhood of the Wolf in the English voice version. *gags* Yeah. Could they maybe have gotten someone who sounded less like the main character should have? Really. *drowns in sarcasm*
