I haven't seen the anime in several years and have not read the entirety of the manga series, but if you do not get any better offers by more knowledgeable persons, I could possibly be used as a last resort! ^.~
Thank you for the offer! I think I have found a beta who is a little more familiar with the series. But I really appreciate you coming to my rescue! *kiss*
*picks Beo* It would be great if you could take a look for me! I am nearly done: just one more short section to finish up, and then I will send it along. Where should I email it?
I have soft spots for a whole slew of the characters in Gravi, which is part of how I know it's a fabulous show all around. But my favorites are, in this order: Eiri, K, and Hiro. *sigh*
XD Hiro would make the greatest boyfriend ever...It's such a pity that he's a fictional character *headdesk* and I haven't seen all of the anime... I was very disappointed in it actually, and I've been trying to suppress my memories of Yuki's pervy voice. No offense. Oh, and Shuichi's "Weeeell, HIIII!" has been forever ingrained in my brain. ...I think they're prettier in the manga.
Yuki is a very special character :P I think what I have most problem with when writing him is the ambivalence. The way to just let things go... I can never do that. Oddities.
the community is quite pathetic really :P (but the people in it are brilliant) gravi_drabble though I've gotten three good friends through it. <3 new friends.
Oh, please don't tell me you were watching it in English. Here's my one anime rule, set in stone: Whenever possible, watch it in the original Japanese. Even though the translations can be pretty good, they always invariably miss something when they are trying to fit voices to mouth movements... The other reason being that you have a good chance of them royally screwing up the voice-to-character match-up. It gets really aggravating. Watch the series in Japanese. It's so good, and Eiri's voice is heavenly.
Ha, I can still remember the one time I watched Brotherhood of the Wolf in the English voice version. *gags* Yeah. Could they maybe have gotten someone who sounded less like the main character should have? Really. *drowns in sarcasm*
No but I will be soon, seeing as how I got the books and yeah, wtf was up with the ... well everything. I just about had a coniption when Hasu fell out the window with Mits. Hell I was having a mini one anyway, but still.
Oh, I meant to ask you and hopefully no one is watching me admit this, but I'm getting behind on the hd_365 reading (cause I suck) and I was wondering, are you getting behind too? If not that I will assume you will have noticed any inaccuracies on my part. I needs to play ketchup.
Sorry I wasn't on yesterday, my compy at work blew a gasket. Shit happened. Hopefully we can talk soon.
See, I say Mitsuo better damn well marry Hasunuma. Dude has done more than enough to show how deep his feelings go. I will climb in there and spank Mits if they don't end up together after all that.
I have been getting a bit behind on a day to day basis, but I usually play catch-up at some point before things get too out of hand. What did you need to know?
The least they could do is grind a bit for our viewing pleasure right!!!! Ok, I'll hold Mits down, you go for the kidneys. Don't screw up his pretty face.
And damn, Gravitation is FUCKING FUNNY. I like Maiko and Hiro, especially in the scene right after he meets the guy whose name I don't know yet cuase this is pretty much where I am and Maiko is telling him, "what am I gonna tell mom." and calling him a slut.
Yeah, I'm laughing my ass off. *snoogles you for lending*
I think I've peaked Grape's interest by telling her about EQ. Mostly how HAWT Has is.
Oh and I'm staying up very late tonight, though I shouldn't, because my friend Greg is live on the radio down in Irvine. Wish you were here to listen with me. Oh well. *double loves for Gravitation*
I agree: let us not mess Mits' cuteness. 'Twould be bad. Veryverybad.
I'm glad you are enjoying Gravi. Gravitation is equal parts fun and angst. I must admit, I like the animated series of Gravitation much better than the manga, mostly because I think the manga gets a little too weird towards the end. But just WAIT till you meet K and Tatsuha. Tatsuha is pervy-fun, but K... *worships at K's feet* Think: former CIA agent who now promotes bands in a forceful manner. ^_^ What I would really like to see is a proper K-Eiri fight. That battle of wits would be worth paying for.
And yes: continue our plot to take over the world via manga. *snicker*
So, did you get your Gravitation back? *is worried because you are visiting and won't reply for a while.* I guess if you didn't you'd let me know though, through massive amounts of killin'.
Okay, so I bought EQ4. Tell me when you've got it, read it, finished it. Then we can discuss. There is much to discuss.
I actually haven't received the package. Do you still have that receipt so I can go kick some ass if necessary?
I finished EQ3. Ohhhh, Hasunuma. Oh, Hasu. I love that boy. I am feeling a smacking of Mits coming on if he doesn't get together with that fine example of a young man. BUT DON'T TELL ME.

I would love to see your Gravi comm!
