As usual, you have made me incredibly happy with this review. *LOVES* I really feel privileged that you responded this way.
I worry about whether they'll be able to find their way back to each other at this point.</>
Definitely a concern of mine as well. They are really sitting on a thin edge here; despite the efforts made by each of them at the end, it could still easily slide away from them. For all Harry's attempts to uncover the real problem and explain to Draco what they were risking losing, it may have been too late.
But I like to remain hopeful. ^_^
If I'm reading this right, Harry is finding himself starting to become attracted to other men, or at least to want to sleep with them (it seems because of what he's missing with Draco.) But some part of their dynamic has to be his fault, and reading this, I'm not sure if he understands what that is. It doesn't sound like Draco does either.
Harry is indeed starting to drift... The thing is, he is still very attached to Draco emotionally, and physically. I see his temptation not so much as an "Oh, god, that man is hot and I want his body because I haven't been getting any" issue, as a "Help, please help, I am miserable, I need the physical reassertion of the love between me and my partner... and you are not it, but I can hardly see the difference" issue. Harry is so confused, so needy. He needs Draco, but he is getting muddled about what he will accept. And yes, part of this situation is his fault, definitely. Harry doesn't talk to Draco enough. He keeps things inside. And Draco doesn't see what his anger is doing to Harry, and it's all just a huge mess.
I love that you are psychoanalyzing my characters! That's a great thing to hear. *kiss*
And I will probably be posting an entry about that "other route" because other people have expressed curiosity as well.
