I'm not sure that if I were in Draco's position I'd want to know that my lover had nearly cheated on me either.
I think it's a hard call, and it's different for everyone. I believe that if true physical cheating (aka, exchange of body fluids) occurred, then it is absolutely imperative that the third person know, so as to check out the possibilities of STDs. But there's always that question on the more gray areas: will it hurt my significant other more if I tell him/her? Or not? Definitely a difficult decision.
