RL stuff

A couple things...

I am heading off to be a bridesmaid this weekend. O.o Omg, my toast. *stares at it* Yeah, I don't know... I'm okay with it now, which is more than I could say a day ago. But still. *bites newly manicured nails*

Anyway, the point of that was that I will be out for a couple days. To the followers of all three fandoms I write for:

~HP-ers: got some fic for you.
~Highlander-ers: got some fic for you too.
~CSI-ers: got some smut fic for you, by request. *leer* You can all thank Shacky20.

If you H/D-ers are hard-pressed for fic to read, check out the happenings on hd_365. The various plot arcs are really coming together. My participation in this comm still makes me gape in awe. It's been such a great experience!

Oh goodness, and now I must fixate manically on my holiday exchange fic. *rubs face* I have a basic plot, and some basic funny, but nothing concrete. Hm. Oh well, it'll come to me. And I still have a few weeks. And of course I am being bitten by holiday fic bunnies for the other two fandoms as well... *grumble*ahkgdlishiaugWAIT YOUR TURN!!!

Last note: Dad is cross-dressing for Halloween.

I love my parents. I LOVE them. Dad: I don't know what to wear! + Mum: Why don't you just wear something of mine? = white skirt and pink silk blouse with white-blonde wig.

Mum came into the room recently and asked if I had any clip-on earings. *SNORT*

I think mine was the longest, but it went so well. My friend cried. I cried. I hadn't expected to do that.

Oh, wedding toast, good luck, and hope the dress isn't too ugly, why oh why does the bridesmaid dress get the MIL Award (that's my name for it)..... And OK, HAHAAHHAAAAAAA, your DAD, that's too funny, now I feel incredibly lame...

Have a great weekend, hopefully I'll have it all done by then, I already have some wonderfully angty scenes in mind, and that song, sometimes when you hear a new song you are like "No Way, I cannot even get a picture" but as soon as I heard the first part, I was already imagining what would go here.... Her dress choice was lovely. I had few problems with it, just the spaghetti straps because I was nervous about my shoulders. But it's all good. I worried over nothing. ^_^

My wild and crazy (no really, Mother In Law, all bad things get the MIL award in my book, it was the only thing that used to keep my sane after the seven years of on and off hell I took from her. She was like Dr Heckyll and Mr. Hyde, it was scary, you never really knew who you would be dealing with.

Well, when we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium Halloween party, I got hit on once, and Dad got approached about three times. *GUFFAWS* Oh goodness.
