Okay, tried to do some Christmasy red here. I love red. Especially dark wine-red. Such a gorgeous colour. ^_^
I apologize to everyone who has been looking for me. I have been out of town visiting Fire. She wrote a one act play and so I went to see it! Very good, very funny. Snappy dialogue (as usual with her), and some truly hilarious scenarios and lines. *sighs happily* I love going to the theatre. And she definitely deserves to be lauded for this.
*pokes Fire* So yeah. Publishing time. YOU. Yeah, you.
I have been sick. Icky cold that just won't take the hint and stop visiting. I'm just glad it wasn't strep again. Last time I had strep, I wrote an Ode to Nyquil. A sonnet, actually. But regardless, it was highly irregular for me. *snort* Nyquil is the bomb.
TO THE PEOPLE WHO PARTICIPATED IN MY DISCUSSION LAST POST: Thank you all! I am still working my way through some of the comments, as I have been busy hacking up a lung and housesitting and visiting and such. But I just want to thank everyone for a considerate, intriguing, civil, and multiple-POV discussion. I always enjoy those types of things. ♥
So. Gotta deal with my holiday fic for the CSI fandom. All you HP-ers, I have holiday fic, but the only place it will be going up is on
hd_holidays -- anonymously, for the time being -- so keep an eye on that comm. There have been some marvelous fics up there! All shapes and sizes. And the artwork has been gorgeous! Go check it out for your H/D fix this season.
I also have a new Highlander fic coming up just as soon as I get the time to finish it, and there will be a new chapter of my HD Charms Trilogy, by request of a buddy. ^_^ And come January, I shall be putting pretty much all my effort into my Monster WIP. Wanna get that baby up and running. I'm chomping at the bit!
So, anyway. Hope you are all having a good December!

Date: 2006-12-15 07:47 pm (UTC)From:I am going to try my darnedest for the 25th, but with the fight this chapter is putting up and the oncoming holiday, I am starting to have doubts. I am not going to force the chapter into anything it doesn't want to be, and sometimes it just takes things a little longer to get themselves sorted when I write. So know that I am trying, but if it pops up a little bit later, like closer to New Years, I don't want you to be disappointed.

I am feeling slightly better. Taking it's sweet time, it is. When are you outtie?

Date: 2006-12-12 08:21 pm (UTC)From:oh and ... also wanted to apologize for possibly overstepping my bounds/treading on toes/generally screwing up as per usual. i kind of swiped your email addy from another post and wrote to you. and you didn't write back which leads me to the conclusion that you're either (a) madly busy; (b) dreadfully sick; or (c) utterly miffed that a complete stranger would have the gall to email you without prior permission to rant on about writing, and your extreme wonderfulness, and on and on until you puke.
so yeah. *flails pitifully*

In fact, your email made me a very happy, blushy person. I will respond to it ASAP, and once again, I am sorry about this...
Thank you for the congrats on the WMTDB awards! I am astounded, quite frankly. O.o
