The fog here seems to be alive. It is twisting and turning around itself like an endless transparent dragon. Today the fog just rolled down into the place I lived, flowing right over the edge of the drop-off. I love how fog mutes sound and makes me feel like I am the only living breathing thing on this planet. I love the shivers I get when I hear something within the fog, but I have to wait until it reveals itself to my mist-clouded eyes.

Okay. So. Tonight I feel like linking to an older fic I wrote. Sorry guys, not H/D this time. This one's about Lily. One of my first.

I have been told this is a bit AU in one spot, but... eh...

And the green consumes...

I love that JK is starting to tarnish the characters' perfection. Makes it so much mroe real.

Yes! exactly. So nice to know that others view it this way as well.

She's confusing me so much because of it. I am a major proponent of fidning out more about the said "bad guys" of the series (ie, Draco, Snape, Lucius, etc). What she is doing with the goodies (making Harry into a normal angry teen, making Dumbledore make mistakes, having Sirius act in his own interests instead of int he interests of altruism) makes me think there is hope that she will do more witht he baddies in the next two books... but then stuff she says in interviews makes me think she doesn't really care about making them more than two-dimensional. I don't want to see Draco do a sudden about face, or come in and suddenly save Harry at the end, or anything. He doesn't even have to join the good side (though i would love that). I just want to know what drives him, because he is too old now to be blindly following his father anymore.

Okee... and that was long. *cringe*

LOL.. long is ok.

I have an inkling that JK will stay with the "good" guys as far as in depth character analysis goes, however it is nice to see that all her so called men in white are not as pure as they seemed to be, falicy in the supposed side of right is such a wonderful thing to delve into. I feel she may expand more with Snape but as for the others... who knows?

*taps foot impatiently and curses JK for taking so darn long getting the next installment out* I need answers woman!

heh. I am kind of agreeing with you about the oversight she may engage in, but I shall be very disappointed if she leaves Draco as the good-for-nothing-2D-bully. That would take her down a few pegs in my book.

But whatev. Like you, I am anxiously awaiting the next book.
