Writer's Block: Time after time

I'll reread/rewatch something until the craving to continue experiencing it is gone. I probably won't read/watch it again and again in a row, but I don't have an upper limit to how many times I go back to a story/show I enjoy.

Most times I don't re-read or re-watch. I figure there's so many excellent books to read, so I don't waste time repeating. The exception to that is my HP movies, books and a few favorite fanfics.

I re-watch the movies over and over. No upper limit, but not in a row. I'll do that with music I love. Play repeatedly until I'm almost sick of it.

I have re-read Greengecko's "Resonance' fanfic at least 5 times and I'm sure I'll read it again.

It's kind of weird how we go back to stuff we've already read when there's so many other things out there that we haven't read. I think some things just resonate so much that we need to experience them again. Maybe in an effort to figure out why it makes us feel like it does.

And then some things like the HP books get better when you re-read, because you pick up things you hadn't before that now make sense, having read the whole series. ^__^ So that's always fun.
