Okay, so I have officially woken up around 7:30 AM for two mornings in a row. Now, you must understand that this is rather monumental for me, seeing as I am very much a vampire and I adore going to bed around 1:00-3:00 in the morning. The problem is that I can't sleep past 9:30 anymore (stupid school schedule screwing with my internal clock *grrrr*), so I often end up entirely too weary for the entire day. But I am babysitting overnight for two adorable children (plus my sis, who is also quite adorable), and I needed to let a dog out very early in the morning.
Okay, so if that made sense, that means I am doing well today. If not, then I'd say we're about normal.
I miss England. Spent a school semester in London this last winter and I get yens for it. Hopping on and off the backs of those grand old Routemaster doubledeckers, wrapping my Scottish wool scarf around my face to keep off the biting wind, popping over to the nearest cafe for an Earl Grey. I miss the way I looked to the right first when crossing the street, something I find myself doing here if I'm not paying attention. But hey, that's life right? What I really find myself missing is going over to York and visiting Bolton Castle, in full medieval wear! Score! More about that later.
Also later, some fanfic drabbles. Possibly some stories. Have fun this early.
