Okay, having not touched HBP yet (it appears I am a surprisingly patient person at heart), I have decided to be a right petulant bitch and continue to write the fics I have already started, as AUs if need be.

^_____^

So. Simply Charming and every continuation thereafter in that universe are AUs by default, seeing as how we now have a canon sixth year. For the same reason, In Another's Hell is now AU. But I like that plot thread too much to just set it aside.

The other fics I am working on are dependent on what I discover when I read HBP, but seeing as most of them take place after Hogwarts is finished, I don't foresee too many big problems (provided some character I am writing about doesn't get axed. In that case, I will have to judge the pros and cons of switching characters.)

*is patiently awaiting Costco's lower pricing of HBP hardback*

ETA: So. That resolve to wait for Costco lasted a total of three seconds when I realized I still had a huge gift certificate to Borders. So now I am happily chowing down on chapter 6! *squees at picture*

Some how I knew it was YOU YOU YOUUUUUUUUUU. But why not give credit where credit is due right? Oh, and Haunted is great. I would reccomend it to anyone, but then again, a lot of people I know probably would hate it. You might like it thought. It has a very weird form, it's a novel of short stories and poems and all the characters have weird weird weird names, like Comrade Snarky and Saint Gut-less, and all the stories are either gross or bizarre or violent, etc. etc. Is goooooood.

Sounds like a fun book. Honestly, I like the twisted stuff. My favorite horror writers are all the whacked out ones: Lovecraft, Poe, de Maupassant... Good stuff. Even Stephen King is a little odd. I think it's a requirement for good horror.
