I was stationed in Japan for 3 years. My youngest was born there (here little hospital beany cap says "Made in Japan"). Lived not far from Yokohoma, outside Tokyo. Was a bit intimidated at first due to the language barrier but I came to love the people and the country. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Oh, but i forgot to mention that you can't leave until after you finish the "Under Fingertips" series because *GAH!* that is by far the BEST HP mpreg I have ever read. It's the raw honesty you chose to use as you approached the subject of mpreg... Regardless of the fact that Harry & Draco exist in world with magic, the reality of the situation is that it's still unnatural and there should be serious risks and sacrifices involved. Love every word you've written thus far... Constantly on the look out for the next installment. So, no Japan for you until that tale is complete. *evilgrin*
that is by far the BEST HP mpreg I have ever readWow! Thank you so much for saying that! That's high, high praise. *is in awe, and blushing too*
I am at work on chapter 4, and I have several other follow-up chapters in notes and broken pieces, so I will see what I can do. I am also concentrating very heavily on a looooooong WIP right now, so that is coming first, but I will definitely have more from the UF universe for you.
I know you don't know me, but I just had to ask--you didn't happen to be stationed in, say, Yokosuka or Zama or someplace like that, were you? Because I was in Yokosuka for 4 years and seeing someone on LJ who lived in/near the same place would make me elated. :)
I was on Atsugi and my husband was in the carrier out of Yokosuka (which is of course where my daughter was born). When we first arrived I lived in Zama-shi for over a year before moving into housing on Atsugi. We were there from '93-96. Still miss it... *sighs*
Thanks for replying. Atsugi is a really nice base...but then again, Japan is nice all over. I was lucky and got to go back a second time, I'm down south now. I'll miss it like crazy when I go to college, though.
