Go thou to [livejournal.com profile] hd_holidays and glut thyself on numerous and sundry H/D bacchanals and orgies, that have been gifted unto thee by the great and magnanimous hobgoblin A. Nonymous, who doth wear many faces cometh Yuletide when fic exchanges spring forth and overrun thy livejournal in great and cheery waves, and when thou hast feasted, bestoweth a comment on thy generous and verybusy [livejournal.com profile] legomymalfoy's livejournal professing thy gratitude for putting her life on hold to organize such marvelous entertainment.

Ahem. *goes to comment*

But really. The stories going up over there are fabulous. And the art is divine. ^____^

the time difference btw here and CA simply sucks, which is why i said i'd hunt you down try to catch you sometime during the day. you'll have to tell me about those christmas stuffs--the name of the city obviously makes me think of vegas :).

AWWWSEAL! *coos* Sea lion?

Saw your pics. I would just LOVE to have a castle right in the middle of my hometown or my Christmas faire. That would rock so many times... *sigh*

Nevada City is actually a Gold Rush town in California, up near Grass Valley, Auburn and Truckee (other Gold Rush towns). Full of lots of older buildings, Christmas lights, arts and crafts and such and sundry, carolers, hilly streets, and a nice river running alongside. ^_^

um, i think that's a seal, yes.

isn't it awesome? a lot of the christmas markets in germany have picturesque settings because they take place in the old town square next to the town hall or church. the presence of history in the form of old buildings is def. one of the things i appreciate so much more about germany/europe now that i don't live here anymore.

ahh, i think you might have mentioned that to me before. i hope you had a good time!

Yeah, one of the best parts of my time in London was walking to anf from wherever, and rounding a corner, and coming face to face with something SOOOOOOO much older and huger than me. It was astounding. Breathtaking.
