Ahoy, world traveler! This is a list of fics featuring a main pairing of Harry/Draco, and taking place in countries other than the UK.

*I have gone through these links and tried to include all of the warnings and bits of special info about these fics that I could find. But I have not actually read them all. Please refer to each author’s personal notes before reading, as I am sure I have missed some things. The summaries included are the authors' summaries.
HOW THIS FIC-LIST WORKS: All of the fics on this list are H/D SLASH, and cover ratings from G to NC-17. I have organized the fics recced here by the country (or countries) they occur in. Please note: this is not a list of fics that simply mention other countries, or that take place in another country for a tiny section of the story. These fics, for the most part, are actually set in a country other than the U.K., and that country plays a significant part in the plot or emotion of the story.
So far, there are 31 country-sections, organized alphabetically. For fics that take place in multiple countries, or on the ocean, I have made separate categories at the end of the list. This list currently contains links to 73 stories.

I am Responsible for My Rose (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=43sunsets), a PG-13 AU Genfic featuring HP characters in the Little Prince world.
The entire wizarding world, with the exception of Dumbledore, has no knowledge of Harry Potter's existence. When Harry turns twelve, he finally comes into contact with Hogwarts and the wizarding world. However, he is left with an unfavorable impression and decides to return home.
On his way home, he encounters a stranded Snape in the middle of the Sahara desert. "Please sir," asks Harry, "draw me an owl…" Snape finds himself staring into the face of his worst enemy. He then suspects that Harry is a hallucination created by his wormwood and nutmeg tea.
Draco won't show up until chapter 7 though, and this fic is more of a Genfic instead of H/D pairing focused. Um, and they're 13 y.o. X-D
Okay, nvm. If anything, it's H/D preslash at most I think. And although Harry spends most of the time in this fic in the Sahara desert (the French part of it, if you're curious), Draco is left behind in Asteroid B-612. Although! The pairing is listed as "Draco/you'll see" since half th fun is figuring out it's really Harry that's with him, so maybe including it would spoil people? Either way, it's a really fun fic.

LOL So I thought if the comm. had a ready made back story of h/d getting together post-war and avoiding all media uproar and obligation by traveling the world together, going where the wind takes them, one would have a ready made reason for h/d visiting, being stuck in, or traveling through someplace you really want to write them.
